Who we are

Welcome to Verdure Environmental Foundation (VEF), a registered non-profit environmental organization operating under sections 12 AB and 80 G of the Income Tax Rules, 1961. Established in September 2022 by a group of ardent environmentalists with a passion to advocate for sustainable technologies and practices to safeguard our planet’s health and vitality.

Our Team

We are a diverse team of experienced professionals offering environmental management and protection services to sustain, protect and nurture our environment and its diverse life forms.

A lifelong nature enthusiast, Nisha holds over 20 years of experience in natural resource management. She obtained her Post-graduation and Doctorate in Environmental Science from Anna University. With expertise in pollutant treatment and green chemistry, she contributed to India’s first Nationally Determined Contributions to the UNFCCC. Nisha's work spans environmental impact assessment, climate change mitigation, and sustainable urban development.

Dr. Nisha Priya Mani

A lifelong nature enthusiast, Nisha holds over 20 years of experience in natural resource management. She obtained her Post-graduation and Doctorate in Environmental Science from Anna University. With a background in Chemical Engineering, he leads innovative initiatives in water treatment, waste management, and nature-based solutions globally. His visionary approach has left a lasting impact, shaping environmental landscapes across continents with transformative projects for diverse communities.

Mr. Anand Ganesan Iyer

Mr. Anand, a veteran in environmental endeavors, boasts a distinguished 40-year career. With a background in Chemical Engineering, he leads innovative initiatives in water treatment, waste management, and nature-based solutions globally. His visionary approach has left a lasting impact, shaping environmental landscapes across continents with transformative projects for diverse communities.
Irene's academic journey, from a Bachelor's in Zoology to a Ph.D. in Integrated Coastal Zone Management, embodies her passion for nature. She leads in remote sensing and GIS, fostering collaborations for coastal management. Irene's advocacy extends to sustainable living practices, exemplified by her conservation farming in Tindivanam, inspiring fellow farmers towards greener agriculture.

Irene’s academic journey, from a Bachelor’s in Zoology to a Ph.D. in Integrated Coastal Zone Management, embodies her passion for nature. She leads in remote sensing and GIS, fostering collaborations for coastal management. Irene’s advocacy extends to sustainable living practices, exemplified by her conservation farming in Tindivanam, inspiring fellow farmers towards greener agriculture.
